I will be appearing on Mike Violette’s “Maine Points” show to discuss my mayoral candidacy. Violette’s News Radio 560 WGAN show is slated to air at 5:00AM Sunday , July 17th. WGAN interview with Ralph Carmona

On why he came to Portland: “I think I can make a difference.”

On how he overcame childhood adversity: “A lot of it is by the grace of God.”

On discrimination: “When I went to the registration [for college], the first question I was asked was what country I was from. I said ‘East Los Angeles, the nation of East L.A.’”

On Portland: “I think the city of Portland is an incredible place right now. And it’s not because of local government or state government or federal government. It’s because of the tremendous entrepreneurial spirit of the businesses there.”
